Our Mission

Our mission is to advance social justice, equity, and economic mobility by providing parents, teachers, and students with the skills and resources they need so that every child can learn to read.

We translate the science of reading into V.I.T.A.L. tools for parents and teachers to use. We overcome dyslexia’s effects and promote high levels of literacy by equipping schools to implement the Science of Reading, Sound & Say Spelling, and Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory reading strategies.

ScholarSkills trains teachers to help students spell well so that they can read well. Our Sound & Say Spelling program, which is a Structured Spelling for Literacy™️ curriculum, helps students master phonetic, orthographical, etymological, and morphemic structures to achieve excellence in reading and writing.

We raise literacy levels (which results in higher attendance and graduation rates) by helping teachers equip students with the analytical reading, spelling, and vocabulary tools champion spellers use.
